Helping children together: Charity Family Day from BF "Tvoya Opora" in Lavina Mall
Incendiary emotions, informative conversations and charity meetings - on May 18, Lavina Mall hosted Charity Family Day, designed to help children affected by the war. The event was organized on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Tvoya Opora BF, which recently opened the "Family Center for Mental Well-Being", which provides free psychosocial assistance to children and their families who have been negatively affected by the war.
TV presenter and coach Nadiya Matveeva held a public conversation "Emotional intelligence of a child" at Lavina Mall today. What do parents need to know?". Lawyer, blogger, social activist, mother of many children and adoptive mother Inna Miroshnychenko, as well as psychologist of the Family Center for Mental Well-Being "Tvoya Opora" Maryna Gonchar joined the frank discussion. The importance of accepting and explaining different emotions, ways to cope with difficult experiences - this conversation was useful for everyone.
At Lavina Mall, even the smallest guests were taken care of. During the day, children participated in various master classes: coloring, appliqué, origami, weaving bracelets from beads and ribbons, creating figures from inflatable balls - no one was left without attention. Children were also entertained by a Sonic doll and an aqua grim artist.
All those willing joined the energetic exercise, which was conducted by the well-known fitness expert Ksenia Litvynova. And the Charity Family Day at Lavina Mall ended with a performance by singer, songwriter and influencer DIANA GLOSTER — this weekend gave truly warm emotions and accumulated funds for helping children.
The unique and energetic atmosphere of the event was created by the presenter of Charity Family Day - public figure and TV presenter Kateryna Trushyk.
All guests could join the fundraising and receive valuable prizes for it, because a charity lottery was held during the Charity Family Day. The main prize of the lottery was a KIVI KidsTV smart TV with a designer frame and a protected screen, which was provided by the KIVI company. Incredible gifts for the raffle and for the participants of the event were provided by the Ukrainian producer "Ranok-Kreativ". We also thank the responsible businesses and partners of the event — VOVK, Marathon, Cabanchi.com, BergOFF and Akvarel — for participating in this important event.
Ukrainian brands also took part in raising funds for psychosocial assistance to children, which organized a pre-sale of charity drops at Lavina Mall that day. Visitors to the shopping and entertainment center could purchase Ganka for Home, Glass Art Stories and "Not a gram of drama" products created in collaboration with the "Tvoya opora" foundation.
All funds collected during Charity Family Day were donated to the Family Center for Mental Well-Being "Tvoya Opora". Children and their families are accepted here to provide comprehensive assistance in overcoming the psychological consequences of war, strengthening psychological stability, ensuring mental recovery and harmonious development of each child.
"For 10 years of activity, thanks to partners, friends and everyone who cares, we managed to achieve incredible results, save thousands of little lives, provide assistance to hundreds of hospitals, dozens of children's homes, rehabilitation centers, boarding schools are under our care. Nowadays, we all have to take care of children's mental health together - along with the war, non-children's problems came into their lives - PTSD, anxiety, depression, alienation, difficulty in establishing social ties. After all, healthy and happy children are our hope and future," said Valeriya Tatarchuk, founder and general director of Tvoya opora BF.
We thank the guests of Lavina Mall for their joint assistance — we once again prove that together we can do more. Till next time! New important initiatives are ahead!
